A staple at Spinnaker Beach Club over the years, the Groove Room began as a true Discotech in the early 1970’s. Since then, it has evolved into a state-of-the-art sound and lighting venue located in the heart of Spinnaker. The Groove Room has been the home of many of the finest DJs to grace Panama City Beach. Having four bar stations, ample table seating and access to Portside and the Rock Arena, the Groove Room is the hub of this amazing nightclub. Ground trembling lows and crystal clear melodic highs will put you in a state of euphoria as our DJs take you on a musical journey. With exclusive remixes from around the world our DJs feature any and every music genre from the 1960s to Present… the Groove Room is sure to have you dancing all night long.
Spinnaker Beach Club was built on live music. From Classic Rock to New Country, The Rock Arena has a little something for everyone. Our stage has been honored with such legendary artists as Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Eric Church, to Jimmy Buffet, Foreigner and Toto. With a stadium-like feel, state-of-the-art sound system, and multiple-tiered viewing, you’re guaranteed a great spot to see and hear your new favorite band or DJ while you dance the night away.
Help! We need all the little pirates we can muster, mister! Those pesky scallywags aboard the Sea Screamer are at it again. Every day they attack us with their ship’s cannon fire. What’s that old saying?… Fight Fire with Fire! Captain Mayhem needs everyone’s help as we fire our cannon back at them! All of our little pirates receive a souvenir pirate hat and pirate eyepatch. Sam Weigle started playing guitar in 1996, teaching guitar in 1998, and performing with bands in the Memphis, TN area in 1999. He holds a BA in music from Rhodes College. Sam returned to his hometown of Panama City in 2004 and has been teaching and performing across Bay County ever since, including playing classical guitar for hundreds of beach weddings. Sam’s repertoire includes 70s/80s/90s rock, blues, pop, and country.

Local sensation and rising star Kyle Mitchell with his band Southern Sunday. Kyle Mitchell was born and raised on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Before taking up music as a member of the duo Southern Sunday with Alec Kotrous, Kyle was drafted by the Minnesota Twins to play professional baseball. At six-foot-five, strong, fast and smart, Kyle was a natural. Fortunately for Kyle’s fans, an injury ultimately led him from sports to music, where he discovered his voice and devoted the same…

Chuck Foster is a local singer songwriter who’s repertoire consists of an eclectic mix of Country, Rock, and Americana covers and original music. Chuck started playing guitar at the age of 14 and played in in bands throughout high school. He started playing music professionally as his sole source of income at the age of 25 in1978. He lived in Cincinnati, Ohio and played clubs in that area for a couple years and then worked with recording artist Bobby Borchers…
